This thread is to try and compile a list of the best music DVDs out there in terms of overall presentation, quality and content.
Here are some of mine:

1) Berliner Philharmoniker--"Beethoven Triple Concerto Choral Fantasy"
2) J Page & R Plant--"No Quarter: Unledded"
3) Various-- "A Tribute to SRV"
4) SRV & Double Trouble--Live at Montreux 1982&1985
5) David Gilmour-- David Gilmour in Concert
6) Led Zep-- 2 Disc Set (Picture of desert on cover released '03)

Santana - Supernatural
Sarah Mclachlan - Mirrorball
Sade - Lovers Live (although I was rather annoyed to find out that there was no DTS track despite the label saying there was one)
Matchbox Twenty - Storytellers (VH-1)
MTV Unplugged Finest Moments featuring Sinead O'Connor, The Church, LIVE, Soul Asylum, Oasis, The Cure, and Duran Duran (an absolute must own, but it's out of print)
Charlotte Church - Enchantment

Diana Krall's "Live in Paris" is also supposed to be really good, I've only seen clips, but everyone I've spoken with about it really liked it.

Paul, I heard that on the Eric Clapton Crossraods concert a lot of the best performances were left out for editing reasons. Do you know anything about this?

The whole Boulez/Chereau Der Ring des Nibelungen from Bayreuth is fantastic. The Barenboim/Kupfer Das Rheingold is swell, too.

Roger Waters In The Flesh and Queen Live at Wembley Stadium are probably my favorite music DVDs that aren't opera. The new-ish release of Live Aid is also pretty great.

Good thread...

Levine/Metropolitan Opera - Der Ring des Nibelungen
Dream Theater - Live at Budokan
"What the Universe Tells Me" - based on Mahler's 3rd Symphony
Gentle Giant - Giant on the Box

How's that for an eclectic list of faves!
