So, just to close the loop....
I've been enjoying the I bassos already! I always listen to new IEMs before burn-in, just to get a feel for their sound and to be able to compare how they are impacted by the burn-in process. These sounded so good, I just said screw it, I'm gonna listen to them and enjoy them, knowing they will only get better.
So if the iBassos sound this good without burn-in, I can't wait to hear how they're gonna sound in a few weeks!

note: since I joined head-fi, I've tried a number of on-ear phones, all of which were sent back for various reasons. Had much better luck with this thread and the IEM reccos. I now have the I-bassos and the 1more triple drivers. I give the I-bassos the edge but I feel like I now have two solid pairs of IEMs, neither of which I'd have without the assistance of the good people here at Head-fi. So thank you!
