I've been looking at IEM's and headphones lately as a post-SAT present to myself and I can't really seem to narrow down on a choice.  I have about 200 bucks to spend and I'm looking for a sound signature that is forward sounding, with good bass, midrange, and soundstage, with level of importance in that order.  I have a fiio E17 that's supposed to come in soon (not sure though since I ordered it a month ago), so impedance is not a major issue.  I am open to any suggestions

Consider the VSONIC GR07 (about $160-180). They fit your requirements well - wide soundstage, impeccable midrange texture, deep and satisfying sub-bass. The FiiO E17 you have on the way will match well with them too, as I tried that pairing at a recent local meet.

I'll second the GR07. The remain my favorites and compare well to much more expensive phones.
