I listen mainly to rock and metal, and love hearing those great guitar riffs. So, I've started a thread to list our top ten favorite guitar riffs (I searched around and didn't find any recent or popular ones) because they're what make up rock/metal. What are your top ten favorite guitar riffs?

Mine:

11. Blackened - Metallica (I said ten but I needed to add this one)
10. Man In The Box - Alice In Chains
9. Crossroads - Cream
8. Scarlet Begonias - Grateful Dead
7. Paranoid - Black Sabbath
6. Highway to Hell - AC/DC
5. Sharp Dressed Man - ZZ Top
4. Take Me Out - Franz Ferdinand
3. Float On - Modest Mouse
2. Cult of Personality - Living Colour
1. Are You Gonna Be My Girl - Jet

Notable ones I can think of off the top of my head at the moment in no order:

"Torture" - Gramatik
"Sour Patch Kids" - Asher Roth (I don't know if the guitar is sampled or not but I absolutely love it in between verses)
"Hand Clapping Song" - The Meters is probably one of my favorites.
"Ohio" - CSN
"Seven Nation Army" - White Strips
"Blue Orchard" - White Stripes
"Thunderstruck" - AC/DC
"40' " -Franz Ferdinand
"Level" - The Raconteurs
"Long Train Running" -The Doobie Brothers
"Day Tripper" - The Beatles

And lots more that I can't remember right now.  I look forward to seeing what others post as well.
