I was looking to replace the output caps on my soundcard with Blackgates, and looking at the voltage rating I decided on 22uF/6.3V NXHiQ ... But I'm kind of unsure now...

My reasoning is that the the card is on PCI bus, which is powered by eighter 3.3 or 5V AFAIR PCI specs, so there couldn't be more than 5V on the output and 6.3V is just fine.

But few people recommend 16-50V rated caps, and the original ones are 10uF/16V....

Am I missing smth?

yeah,peak turn on voltage surge or in some cases dead short !

very common with most solid state rectified power supplies and why you must over rate the supply section capacitors
