Those tips have been out for quite some time in various guises. The most common is "slicsound eargels". I have never heard them, but they sure look like an interesting product.

Just checked the archives, and I think this product may have been the first I ever asked about on head-fi, and I haven't seen it at all in-between. WOW, that was a blast from the past!

I'm a big fan of Fatman's iTube amp, but these phones look altogether too much like the dreadful phones once marketed under the Turbosound brand name, with Slic soundboosters.

Having listened to Koss the Plug phones I can't say that they're the worst phones I ever heard, but second worst is bad enough.

I found these in a wardrobe, never used. I had purchased them in the early 2000s from Hard to find records in Birmingham. In the next few days I will try to use them for mixing, I had seen them used by Goldie during a DJ Set in Rome @Agatha Brancaleone.
