Heya, I have a father's day question....

Dad ones a quality Sony walkman that is durable, clips onto a belt, is small, looks nice, and has an am/fm radio and a cassette player. He wants a nice pair of vertical-in-the-ear headphones that fold up (that is necessary!) that go with it. Can anyone help me find a good combo of this stuff?! Thanks!!

Why not a panasonic RQ SX70V. I've had one for 3 years . Its all metal sounds great plus it has am/fm.Its not much larger than a cassette case. Add a pair of koss ksc 35 and you got the best in portable tape
Somewhere on headfi radio shack verticle phone was highly recommended. BTW you didn't mention price . The pana will cost more than $90.
There is robably a later model of the pana. I got mine at JANDR.COM

All of the Sony Sports Walkman AM/FM, cassette models are durable, have a belt clip, and come with VITE phones. However, the phones are not the folding type.

You could get him something like that and add a pair of folding VITEs.

You won't find a better sounding VITE style headphone than the A44s. There are many AM/FM/cassete portables out there. I mentioned the Sony Sports model because I've had one for years. I've put it through hell, and it still works like new.

I haven't heard the RSs, Gluey...so I can't comment. Should be easy enough to find out at your local store. You should go ahead and try their portable units too.

Good luck....
