You can hear a smoother replay in the highs with the Blue NOAH definitely Vocal switch off just switching out the NOAH.
Thank you. I still have to try the blue module.

I am still so impressed by the default option with black modules and vocal switch off. What a great IEM the Grand Maestro is!! Audio bliss 🎼

I am getting quite close to the sweet spot with my Maestro Mini for EDM Music using the SPINFIT CP240-M tips. The basses are just splendid.
I do recommend if you are usually using the L size of other tips to use the M size for the SPINFIT CP240. The L size can really be irritating as it does go
deep in the ears.

The CP240 is the best tip for bass emphasis I have come across. I use them on my MSE uni.

Agree 100% to go a size down from normal.

Hi all, does anyone use the MSE with the Cayin N7? I'm thinking of picking a set up but not sure if N7 has enough power to run them decently without an external amp?

The tone and staging is top notch but the N7 amp section doesn’t handle the DDs or dynamics as good as they can be, imo. It’s why I ended up getting rid of mine.

Is everything just bad or not so critical? I am also considering N7 for MSE. There is also A&K300, but the closed android is not satisfied. What would you recommend from $1500 to $2000? But at the same time, the power of the Cayin N7 = 500 mW and the power of the A&K SE300 is 1125mW, yes...x2 is bigger.

Oh it’s not even remotely close to bad! It can just scale quite a bit higher for the price point. For example, the HiBy R6 Pro 2 will drive MSE better than the N7.

so the hiby r6 pro 2 has even less power)) The maximum output power with an asymmetric connection is 125 MW, with a balanced connection – 385 MW. Cayin n7 = 500MW.

I found the Maestro SE very hard to drive to its fullest when I had it. Now I'm kind of considering the Grand Maestro, to pair with what else, the N7. Is the GM any easier to drive than MSE?

It’s not about sheer power output, more about how well the amp section is pushing out the power. The HiBy has better drive for IEMs over the N7 despite having a weaker power output.

No it’s not any easier unfortunately.

Ah, thanks for the info. I think I'll have to come up with other options then. Kinda thinking about Alambic Ears Mentawai....

I'm running it through my Topping A90D right now and I need to go as high in volume as with my HD800S full size headphone. Even a little more.

Btw. the A90D has 9800mW output power, so I still have _a lot_ of headroom with the GM. Like mentioned above, the A&K SE300 will handle it easily.
