Hey there,
 
would appreciate much if anyone can help out with my problem~
i got the DAC driver installed successfully,selected output device on laptop as Fiio X5,
on the Fiio x5 player itself select DAC function, player shows DAC mode.
but sound just doesn't produce on any of my media players.
Basically No sounds are produced...
(Picture of what the laptop is indicating while playing Adele song is playing but no sounds are produced..)
 
i am using a Acer windows 7, I5 processor laptop with 64bit operating system.
Please enlighten me on how i could make it work!!! Anyone any advice would help much

You are trying to use the X5 as a DAC and play the songs in it through your PC in some sort of media player?

im using the x5 as a USB DAC & play the songs on my laptop via WMP/itunes & etc, plugging in earpiece on my x5?
