Nice, but it covers the entire display. Two narrow strips do the same job and allow access to the display and controls.

I wonder if it would be possible to get something like this made out of clear plastic, so you could still see and use the display?

Yeah did think of that, but the clear plastic will need to be protected in some way to prevent the edges from tearing or damage. Maybe like a open window from the leather and then insert the plastic there.

I did think of stitching the plastic to leather too...
