Hi..
I have this friend that I've been searching on FB since yesterday.
I have this friend that I've been searching on FB since yesterday.
I know his exact name and that he lives somewhere in Minnesota.
When I search for the name I get hundreds of results with so many not being the same name.
For example, if I search for David Smith I get results for David Alex, David John, and other people with the same first name but different last name.
Anyways, is there a way to search for an exact name and filter it by state?
Thanks!

I've had the same issue with people already on my list. Their search engine used to be fully functional and would give you matching people on your list first followed by matching people off my list, but now I have the same issue. I try finding someone named Geraldo Mustacheo and I get George Miller.

The Facebook search engine was significantly better at one point, with filtering options for all of the profile attributes that they made public. That changed a while back and although it reduces the utility of the search, that change was probably for the better.
