Hi everyone. I was wondering if anyone has any experience with these amps. I was searching for the beyerdynamic A1 amplifier on ebay and came across this.

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/FA1-PRO-Headphone-amplifier-base-on-beyerdynamic-A1-with-99-same-components-/111160719527?pt=UK_Sound_Vision_Amplifier_Parts&hash=item19e1b1f8a7

It claims to have 99% of the same components as the A1 while only costing a small fraction of the A1. I plan on getting the beyer T1 soon and want a good amp to pair them with. If this cheap one is basically the same then I don't want to waste money on the A1. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

As nice as it looks as an A1-clone, you will probably will buy something else later.  It is coming from China, so check how it is set up for the components.

I found out some details on the FA1 non pro version. Pretty much the same except for the extra headphone connection.

Do you think it would be worth trying out then?
