Hi
I'm setting up a system of computer based music, feeding into a (modest $) digital XO.
I have most of the gear, all of which can handle 24/96, to allow LP rips at higher than CD resolution.
All I need to complete it, is an ADC capable of 24/96.
External, for lower noise.
(Almost certainly it'll do other things that I don't need).
With the gear I have the
- input can be either via FW or USB; and
- output via either Midi or 1/4 inch (unless modest cost 24/96 capable adaptors are available).
What can do that, without blowing the bank (or more specifically, inflaming the wife . . )?
maximum preferably about $US 500
