What are your thoughts on exposed wires?
Does it matter if you can see the wiring in open back headphones? Namely the wires connecting the drivers to the sockets. Does it look better or is it just a good idea to cover them so they're better protected from the elements?

Just curious about people's opinions, not sure if having them not exposed makes the end result look more refined.

Do you mean bare wire like an HD600 or insulated wire like an HE500?

So you mean either bare wire or jacketed/insulated, as long as you see it?

As long as the wire is behind a grill, I don't have a problem with it personally. On the older Hifimans, that's sort of the signature look.
