I have actually the Meridian Prime Headphone Amp with Prime Power Supply which drives Beyerdynamic T90, this headphone is a excellent partner with prime.
But I'd like to know yours experiences with other headphones, because i think that the prime probably deserves better

I'm using the Prime with the wall wart and LCD-X, and love it.  The power supply upgrade for me is superluous because it is so great already, and the manufacturer says the power supply is for the "last little bit" of sound quality (paraphrasing).  I chose it over the Chord Hugo (?) mainly because of the user interface and a bit more power... and I didn't need it to be portable.  Otherwise, do consider and test both!  Found them both on display at Audio High in Mountain View, CA (silicon valley).

Every headphone I have tried with the Meridian so far sounds very good:

Martin Logan Mikros 90
ATH-AD900X
Ultrasone PRO 2900i
ATH-ADX5000 [really, really good match]

. . . have yet to try the Focal Utopia and HifiMAN HE-1000SE . . .
