I think that's basically what Larry at headphile does, right? Except he charges a lot.

The author claims that those are worth $1000 and you can make it yourself for less than 100. They should be pretty good when the whole cable is made of 99.99% pure silver.

I wouldn't say they're worth $1000, but the retail equivalent might sell for several hundred. $100 is about what they're worth to me. But I'll be damned if I lay out that much for a cable any time soon.

Anyway yeah if you want to make $1000 cables you'll need to go kill a snake or something. Eitherway you'll have very nice budget cables there proabaly suitable for any budget audiophile system.

I really hate the sound of pure silver wire.

Gold alloy has my favorite sound signature.
