I know there are Bluetooth adapters/transceivers that allow you to turn wired headphones into wireless (BT) ones, but I haven't found any that do the same thing without relying on Bluetooth.
Most gaming headsets use their own 2.4GHz protocol to provide lower-latency and higher-bandwidth/bitrate/quality than is possible with Bluetooth (usually in addition to a BT option for convenience). I'm surprised I haven't seen companies selling a USB-dongle + transceiver that you can plug your own wired headphones or headsets into. This would allow us to use whatever analog headphones or headset we prefer in a wireless setup.
Is anyone aware of products that fill this niche?
