After having my iPod ruined by an adapter that somehow broke and stuck inside the iPod, I decided it was time to just change the plug entirely, seeing as I never use the 1/4" one anyway.
So I got myself a Neutrik tiny plug (3,5mm right-angle), and looked at the instructions which shows three wires inside the cable, and how they're supposed to be soldered onto the connector. In my Sennheiser cable, there are four wires. Does this mean I can't use the Neutrik plug, or how do I solve this? I've soldered a whole bunch of stuff before, it's just the first time I do something audio-related.
Appreciate your help!
