I wish that I hadn't been so impatient to import my Zu Mobius cable earlier this year - I might have gotten an extra 2m for the same price!

This explains it very well indeed.... I'll wait until the exchange rate is $3 = £1 before visiting the US on a shopping trip

Pint of beer: £2
Loaf of bread: 70p
Newspaper: 40p
Gallon of petrol: £3.85
Round of golf in St. Andrews: £120
MacDonalds Cheeseburger: 79p
Cup of tea: £1
Half a dozen free range eggs: £1.09
Cheese and tomato prepacked sandwich: £2.20
Iceberg Lettuce: 80p
entrance fee into stately homes: £8
20 cigarettes: £4.75
A medium sized chicken: £4.99
A cheap umbrella: £10
fish and chips (takeaway): £4
A large Doner Kebab: £4
a packet of Rizla: 22p
a pair of socks: £3.99

so on and so forth, it's very expensive over here for you guys.
