Has anyone ever tried one of the listed headphones with this triflange from amazon? It looks like it could do wonders for isolation, but it is a non-amazon seller only, with no reviews, so i am a bit wary. http://www.amazon.com/Replacement-Ea...108713&sr=8-10

I haven't tried that one, but I did shoe-horn an etymotic tri-flange tip onto the EX70s. It was a VERY tight fit, but it worked.

Actually the Ety er-6 (not 6i) bi-flange tip works quite well for those headphones.

How do the 71s isolate with stock tips?
Usable on airplane/lawnmowing?

Usable, but not stellar. They don't go in nearly enough.
