Does anyone have any experience with the Evergreen RumbleFX 3D Sound Amplifier? I understand it uses the same SRS technology as in Windows Media Player. Would this amp be suitable or give any significant sound improvement with a portable cd or mp3 player through Sony Eggo D66 or Koss Portapro headphones?

Haven't heard it, but most people here tend to avoid DSP enhanced amps. They tend to be "gimmicky" sounding, not "audiophile" devices and not really up to snuff in terms of construction/parts quality compared to the low-end portable amps you can have built by someone here on the cheap. OTOH, if you listen primarily to mp3s from a portable CDP, getting approval of "audiophiles" here might not be that important to you.
