ever witnessed headphones gettig destroyed?

went skiing last weekend. saw some 12-13 year old kid taking a huge fall, grinding his face/head onto the snow for good 5 seconds, and he was wearing sr325i for some reason.
his first words: "my dad's gonna kill me"
i felt so bad for the poor headphones =(

No more than the 325i deserves imo.

I dont think I would want to listen to music while skiiing. I like the swishing and the wind.

Perhaps the packed snow inside the 325i housing will help to tame those God awful harsh highs.

It's not headphones that are the problem (though the peace is one of skiing's biggest allures to me0, it's kids wearing helmets, make em feel invincible and rather dangerous when they loose control. If you're skiing on public slopes so fast that you need a helmet you shouldn't be skiing that fast. No helmets for >10s (small kids have soft skulls apparently).
