I made a pair today. It was fun and I am pleasantly surprised by the sound...

They don't look half-bad either if I do say so myself.

The headband. The adjustment arm on one side of the Phillips was too short and the headband wasn't mirror imaged (off centered) anyway.

I also tried the earpads from the EarHuggers but this just made the sound confused and messy - they sound much better with the stock Philips foam ear cushions.

The cable... I dunno... From one of the 10,000 junk/parts phones I have.

Speaking of parts phones, I found a couple of metal caps from an old set that fit perfectly in the holes on the sides of the frankenphones. I think they look kind of cool (some might say tacky) and the designate right from left. I want to install the caps and do a couple of other mods and then I'll post more pics.
