Etymotic Research ER6i $50 @amazon

Maybe it's because they saw the entire audience swarming over to the (somewhat better) RE0, now in their price range.

At $50, I can't think of any competition for them. The midpriced Shure offerings, maybe? I haven't heard them, largely because nobody seems to be a fan.

The best deal I have found on here was the old im616 by Altec Lansing that some obscure dealsite was selling for 20 bucks.

It is almost as good as what I remember my Ety ER4p. In fact to me it seems like a straight rebrand.

Anyway to get close to the ER4p at 20 bucks is pretty nice!! And at $50 its not too shabby either. Nice find.

There are better, cheaper options out there if you want more bass quantity. The NE6 comes to mind.

These rip the UE sf3 and uhp336 to shreds though.

x2 on the NE-6. The Etys have more clarity and treble sparkle, but get owned by the Nuforces in the bass department.
