Hi,
I see on amazon that they sell an Etymotic ER6iC. How is this different than the ER6i? The price difference is significant. Thanks.

Just a guess, but after Googling "ER6iC" I believe the "C" has to do with the packaging, because the term, "clamshell" is used.

From the pics and the specs, it looks identical. Why don't you just call Etymotics to be sure?

I just called etymotics, and they said it does indeed refer to the clamshell packaging. Thanks again.

i think amazon has the er6i for $87 shipped, so get those instead of the er6iC. buy.com also has 'em for $88 shipped.
