I recently purchased a pair of er4p's and the sound is great. The only issue is that I can't wear the flanged tips, and the foam tips are going to run out quickly. I have been looking at getting custom molds for them instead. I have heard some people say that they have had issues with the sensaphonic molds, they broke down fairly quickly or something to that effect? I have scuba equipment from the early 1990's that is still fine and has silicone on it. I am wondering what people's experiences have been in terms of how long these are supposed to last. I am definitely leaning towards the sensaphonic molds as they are soft and are supposed to have a better seal.

I read about them. They look pretty nice, but I am not sure about the fact that they are kind of hard. I am most worried about the molds not lasting 5+ years of regular everyday use. for $150 USD I want my investment to last.
