It's been a long while since I was last here but there use to be some awesome micro-businesses here that dealt in custom cable upgrades. I got a spare ER4-P that I'd like to jazz up, is there any of these businesses left around here?

I took a look a while back and I think your best bet is to get an adapter like this one and then buy an MMCX upgrade cable. Hopefully, someone who has done this can confirm that this works.

So do they not fit with regular MMCX cables?
Are they proprietary? And need that adapter?
