Anyone have this issue before (where the ER-6 rubber that covers the driver gets a small cut and increases till it completely breaks in half?) It's really annoying and put my ER-6's out of commission until I used some tape to cover the driver up (but I still need to put something around it because the tape feels crude and is sorta still sticky and took some hairs off of my EGGOS when I put the eggo pad next to my ER-6.)

So anyone have that rubber problem with the ER6? Maybe people will start getting it with the ER6i.. :-/

My rubber casing on the ER-6 has a hole in the corner, not to mention it almost slips off when I insert new filters. I practically stopped using my ER-6 because of this construction problem and several other problems I have with them.
