Ety custom earmold question

I've seen people recommend getting custom earmolds made for the ety phones. I'm wondering, does this improve sound quality, or just isolation? Would someone please elaborate on this?
Also, roughly how much does it cost to have the custom fitting done?

Thanks for referring me to that thread.

Sounds like the custom molds could be good for me because I generate a lot of earwax and it would be good to have a little more distance.

Does everyone who has custom fit agree that the sound is improved?
