Does someone has a panasonic with a manual and could check for this error ?

I had it once when running my pcdp on internal batteries, it is all right on wallwart and with the external box.

Possibly a useless guess, but F17 on a Panasonic MD portables means there is a problem with the magnetic head. F15 could be a problem with the optical block? Perhaps it is not being supplied enough juice via internal batteries, and it pops up with that error?
