Alrighty.... what you see in Zachi's list (that's what I told him) regarding 6EM7(P), 6SN7(P) and 6SN7(S) adapters is for the standard 6 volt UltimatE as power tubes. You can't use 6EM7 with 6SN7(S) in the 6J5 sockets - that will exceed the 1A for driver tubes.
Now for Hai's UltimatE with 5 volt rectifier and Bryant's SupremE with 5 volt rectifier, they are allowed up to 2.5A for the drivers. Here's what they can use regarding 6BX7, 6BL7 and 6EM7 as drivers in their amps:-
6BX7 and 6BL7 can just insert into the 6SL7 slot without adapter. It will work. Or you can use 6BX7 or 6BL7 using 6SN7(P) or 6SN7(S) or 6EM7(P) in the 6J5 slots. So you can compare one 6BX7 in the 6SL7 slot or 2 x 6BX7 using 6SN7(P) in the 6J5 slots. See which sound better or are they the same.
6EM7 as driver:-
The lower mu of 6EM7 is 5, too low as driver and the plate current is high - not recommended to use this section for driver.
The high mu = 68 of 6EM7 (Also 6FD7, 6DR7) similar to a 6SL7 - can be used as a driver, use the 6SN7(S) adapter. If you have a 6FD7 / 6CY7 adapter for the 6EM7, then you can use the lower mu = 17 6EW7, 6DE7 with the 6SN7(S) adapter.
Theoretically you can stick a 6EM7 in the 6SL7 slot but because they are dissimilar triodes with a low and high mu section, you will get dissimilar left and right channel.
