You were always in the queue. If I extend my vacation, it will be by 2 weeks. Not sure what I want more. My vacation or getting my hands on a Super Ultimate.

I will get my hands on a Super Ultimate though. Bryant will be the guinea pig. It should turn out very well. Nothing much is new except for the 6J5 sockets but that is the part I'm interested in. I'm curious how the best of single triodes will stack up against the best of double triodes. It's the only reason I gave up on the wooden Ultimate.

Dan sent off the tubes and eta is 18th July.

Still no news from Eric on Bryant's Ultimate. I would expect some pictures from him on the top plate by now. That is ok because in my mind, I'm planning ahead my Indiana Jones adventure from Sydney to Penang to Medan then back to Penang and Sydney. I'm looking for the lost ark instead of Ultimate. :)

Whisper is awesome!!! Due to its location (living room) - I actually use it more than my bigger / more expensive amps. Such a beautiful sound :smile:
Eric is a real asset for this community. An Aussie national treasure for sure!

I totally agree. Always best to take them out of their boxes first. 🤣

So far the highlights include a bunch of 6sn7's, 6v6's, 5998 (single) some random 6080's and a gz34... Lots of trash though...
