When are Euforia's owners going to learn that the OTL amp is not meant to play those KT66, KT88 and EL34 tubes? Ask any tube amp builders and they will tell you. Even Lukasz says no. You want to listen to pentodes as strapped triode, you get Ultimate or similar OTC amps. People need to wise up to this. You can't treat chickens like ducks. They just can't swim.
Yeah, but ducks taste like chicken, so there's that. 🤣

GE is the first company I work for and proud of it. :relaxed: There's a sign on the exit door that says, 'Today's share price is $2.75. Tomorrow's share price depends on you'.

A quick test of Audivina with Odyssey, Oblivion and Ultimate.

1st - Oblivion
2nd tie between - Odyssey and Ultimate

Oblivion is just a little bit more special with Audivina. The spaciousness and clarity is astounding. Odyssey and Ultimate are very good as well.

This gives you an idea where I rank Ultimate amongst my amps.

I also used to work for "Good Enough" when they bought up Lineage Power only to sell us off to ABB. It wasn't a bad place to work but spinning off a profitable acquisition and then selling us kinda felt bad...

My brother-in-law has been with GE for right at 40 years now with about half of that in aircraft engines and the other half in rail services. There have been ups and downs of course but overall he's been pretty happy working there. Fortunately he was never involved with tubes or appliances, both of which would have given me fertile ground to abuse him. 🤣

I spent my first few years at Lineage repairing DMS100 and 5E switches, never got any tubes out of it BUT I did get to see the occasional lineup running a giant reel to reel data backup. Video below of a lunatic that actually is in the process of booting up a small site version of the DMS. Large telco offices would literally have 5 or six aisles of these 7ft monsters... most have been decommissioned now, but on occasion I run into a site that still has one of these mechanical bastards still running.
