Righ..after getting the Er6i i found out that they sound much better when amped (thru my p580 creative 5.1 headphone out) and got me into thinking to get a portable amp...now after doing some research it falls down to a Meier porta corda II or a Headroom airhead...
which one of those 2 will be better (sound better) for my portable rig...

I have the Total Airhead and it sounds great, though I've joined the Corda II buy since I find that the Total Airhead cuts some highs, which bothers me. Hope that helps, but at the moment all I've tried the TAH with are: HD590 (yuk), Porta Pros (not bad), and MDR-V900 (ok). It improved all the phones sound, though cut the highs, which wasn't a bad thing in the case of the HD590s. It's s solid piece if you don't mind losing some highs.

Oh yea, I run an iPod as well...and by the Corda II buy I meant the group buy that ends on the 30th of this month, on this site.

reidme, have u got ure amp at all? did u compare the two of them? which one is better sounding?
