i think the er6 tips (any) feel awful after about an hour, so i took out the filters, tips, and rubber cover off. i cut a set of foam earplugs (about 1/3 cut off the ends) and drilled small holes in them. i fit them over the whole er6 assembly and walllah. super comfy and best sound isolation. you haveto make sure there is a decent hole for the sound to come out. but it can be very small (pin hole size). when i put them on i just roll the plugs in my fingers and then i stick them in.

BTW - the foam earplugs are super hard to drilll. make sure you use a super small drill bit and get the angle just perfect. expect to go through a few sets of earplugs
