I'm REALLY thinking of getting these....I have the e2cs right now, and needless to say, their AWFUL. What's the cheapest place online to get these new besides Amazon? Also, how do they compare to the K701 in terms of highs, detail, and bass?

Get it from Amazon unless you are not in US. Else you can go for some dealers in eBay which has been proven to be quite trustworthy. There's one particular dealer that sells brand new black ER-4P for $169 and I think it is a good price.

I was thinking mine came from there but now I think I bought them at Comp-U-Plus. They are $159 but it looks like shipping is $15. I think my Logitech Harmony 880 remote came from them, fast service.
