ER-4P to ER-4S cable using RS-71???

Hi,
I just got my RS-71. Well pretty much excited!
I'm gonna use it with my iPod Photo 30G with SIK dock (for now) and Ety ER-4P.
I got a question for you guys who have been experimenting with Ety's : Do I need the P to S cable converter to run RS-71 more effectivly?
I'm not sure if RS-71 would get along with 27 Ohm...

The SR-71 will work just fine with the 4p, I've tried it...
