So I am getting a better feel for what I like after getting used to my SE210's. I really enjoy analytical, highly detailed phones. I also appreciate the great isolation that the shures offer. Comfort is also very important to me. Bass is important, but not so much for impact as for detail. All this and i am still not ready to drop $300 for IEM's yet. So my question is ER-4P or Phonak PFE? Any other ideas/impressions that might be useful to me in my decision making process?

Thanks for the help and screw you guys for my wallet

Hmm.. my views are probably not welcome since haven't tried either of the headphones said, but I have done HEAPS of research prior to buying my IE8s, and I would rec' you buy the ER4P. The ER4P *apparently*

has great detail and is very analytical, and is renowned for great isolation. Please, correct me if I'm wrong, 'coz I probably am.
