I have just received my Equinox Balanced cable for my Senn 650s today. I am listening to a Headroom Balanced Desktop. My initial impressions are that the cable upgrade has delivered a small improvement in sound quality over the stock balanced cable. I'll burn these guys in to see if there is anymore improvement to be had. At this stage, I am dissapointed at the small improvement given the cost of these cables.

I'll see how the burn in process does.

Give them time to burn-in, like 300+ hours, then borrow a second set of HD650s and compare the two of them.

If you don't hear enough of a difference PM me and I may buy them off your hands.

I feel the Equinox works better with the HD600. It sort of fills up the sound. On the 650, it just makes it thicker and slower. This comparison was done on a HRDB. If you ever feel the need to sell yours drop me a pm as well
