Yo, Im not sure if this is the right category to ask but imma holla anyway.
So I'm using the on board audio of my motherboard (Ga-970A-D3P) and whenever I change my equalizer's settings the audio is sounding wrong. It sounds as if the volume across certain frequencies is changing randomly and certainly not equed properly. Ive checked this out on my other computer (2010 mac book) and it sounds perfect. Headphones of use are m50's so I dont think an external dac/amp is necessary but Im wondering if it would solve the problem (or whether I should upgrade the motherboard...).
