Hey guys, i'm pretty new here. Lurked around for a while and decided from all those days of lurking that the AD900 could be my 1st "real" set of cans. So i went ahead and pulled the trigger on these babies. I'm loving it for sure, but i'm wondering if they could be better by playing around a bit with the EQ settings on my iTunes? Particularly, sibilance bothers me a bit with certain songs.
 
Any suggestions for EQ settings? By the way, these are not yet burned in, i think. And i'm using an external soundcard for now until i get enough money to get a decent internal one. Thanks!

Try a -5 dB EQ centered at 4khz. Make it -0dB at 3khz and -0dB at 5khz. Apply a -3dB EQ at 8khz.
You may not be able to get this done correctly with a simple EQ like that in iTunes, but try to get close to those settings.
 
Edit: I looked at the iTunes equalizer, it actually should work out decently. Just try -5dB EQ at 4khz and -3 dB at 8khz.

Thanks! Pretty much did the trick. One more thing, what are some good EQs i can try in case i want to tweak in the future? Thanks again for the reply!
