What EQ software would be recommended for a MAC?  I'll be receiving the Stax 507s and I understand they are forward and possibly need EQing.  I haven't got any answers to a previous post regarding various  Stax amps.  I'm planning on buying either the SRM 323S or SRM 727, so at this point I'm only considering solid state amps that are as neutral as possible.  I read that a modded 727 is a more refined and more powerful 323S but I don't know what that means.

I was reading that Amara might be a good EQ choice.  There's the Amara Hi FI for $49.99 and the Amara for $189.  I'm really just wanting to get an EQ system to deal with the 507s.  Are there less expensive choices than the Amara?

I'm not getting a DAC yet.

I've been using this freeware option for a few days. So far, it's worked fine. It has a 31 band option which seems to fulfill my needs.
