The Celtic Book of Days by David Arkenstone is probably my favorite epic cd that I have. It's on itunes so you can check it out. You should really check it.

A few that popped into my head right away...

Ravel Orchestration of Tableaux d'une Exhibition (but only the last movement: La Grande Porte de Kiev), so I don't know if thats exactly what you want.

Beethoven -Symphony 9 - It's epic, I don't know what more to say

Berlioz - Symphonie Fantastique

Shostakovich - Symphony 5 - I think it's epic, but in a different way.

What, no reccomendation for the 1812 Overture? When I think of Epic that's one of the first things that pops into my mind. I particularly reccomend the Telarc recording.

"Lower Your Eyelids to Die with the Sun" - M83

If you think the title is something wait until you hear the rest of this song

Put on some headphones, shut off the lights and relax while this song takes you over for ten epic minutes of music you will love, I promise
