EP-630, What is going on no avalability!

Same thing happened to me; I found a store that still had them, and snapped them up; haven't heard anything yet, though, so I've got my fingers crossed.

Where did you hear this? Any news on a newer model? Any perticular reason why they did this?

If you can find the 630 for a good price, definitely pick them up. I'm really glad I bought them while they were on Amazon.

I hear the ep-635 sounds different.

One question, is the part about hearing yourself chew and breath as bad as the sony's? I thought I heard the EP's were worse than the EX's when it came to noise from the cable, and inner body movments.

Yeah, it's pretty bad. Noticibly worse than my Sony EX51. That's my only complaint about them though.

That is a major complaint, seems like creative is making a very bad decison.

Microphonics is TERRIBLE. I can hear the wind on these things.

But now they've opened up more, I like the sound more. Sad that they are OOS everywhere.

Are you refuring to the EP630 or EP635?
