Entry Level Southern California Mini-Meet Interest Check

Thinking it might be good to get an entry level gear mini-meet going to give new entrants into the audio space a chance to build up experience with attainable headphones and gear (amps, dacs, etc). Or perhaps even just experience some things for ourselves

I’m in West LA, and would love to put my hat in for this! Definitely a newcomer to the head-fi hobby, and excited to learn and geek out with some cool folks in the area! I can bring my Focal Clear OG’s and (if there’s interest, and if I still have them) my Dunu SA6’s. Maybe more by the time we get this together…

I just got a place between the Valley and Ventura. I'm cleaning it out right now, but there might be space for a meet, if everyone is interested.

Just a cool and novel thought, but if owners of HD520, HD530, and HD580 pop up, the entire Sennheiser 500 line would be assembled for this event.

I wonder how many more. The number could affect the venue. I'm currently cleaning out my new place and waiting for work to get done, so that'd be late April, early May at the soonest. If we wanted to rent out a place due to a lot more people, that could change things too.

Especially for this kind of thing. I'd sort of envisioned the idea as a way for people in the entry level to experience gear and build experience with different tonal balances, strengths, weaknesses, etc and stuff.
