I need to add: Not because you buy expensive headphones, you become an audiophile. You might be terrible disappointed once you test them and find out that some subtle differences are not worth the money. However: return the beats as soon as you can.

I don't think he should return the beats as soon he can, it's his decision, he said it himself he likes the way they sound and finds them comfortable/stylish. Why would he return them? Because you don't like them?
