Since its release, I have been enjoying this album immensely, as well as finding new found appreciation for their past works. It blows my mind and warms my heart to know that against the odds of this horribly messed up world we live in, a band like Enter Shikari exists. Their lyrics could not be more relevant to my life and to the life of every human being on this planet, and the sad part is I'm pretty sure a majority of their fans don't even know or care what they're talking about. Nevertheless, they will continue to be a beacon of inspiration to me.

Now I don't know about you, but I don't think the primary purpose of your life, or my life, or the entirety of the human race is to just blindingly consume to support a failing economy and a faulty system, forever and ever until we run out of every resource and have to resort to blowing each other up to insure our own survival. I don't think we're supposed to sit by idle whilst we continue to use a long outdated system that produces war, poverty, collusion, corruption, ruins our environment, and threatens every aspect of our health and does NOTHING but divide and segregate us. I don't think how much military equipment we're sending to other countries, how many hydrocarbons we're burning, how much money is being printed and exchanged, is a good measure of how healthy our society is, but I do think I can speak for everyone when I say, we're sick of this ****!!!

I have all 3 albums, I have to say, from a musical perspective, A flash flood of colour is awful. It just doesn't flow, it doesn't have enough dynamics, it doesn't keep interest, and it relies too heavily on the lyrics to keep it afloat.
I don't hate it, I enjoyed listening to it, but I can't face listening to it again for quite a while...
on the other hand, Common Dreads was interesting, not perfect, But I did really enjoy it, I think it was a move just very slightly too far away from take to the skies, but it was more mature than TTTS.

And oh god, the breakdown in Sssnakepit is Fu*king terrible. it shouldn't have been in the song at all. Just had to say it.

It's not thee most amazing thing I've ever heard, but I wouldn't really call it bad. It is very bent towards the lyrics, but the lyrics are some of the most amazing I've ever heard, so...
