The mids are tone down, the highs are smooth out and I can hear pretty good bass.

I just got my ER4Ps today from newegg. Listening to Vivaldi's Four Seasons is wonderful. I am using the tri flanges that came with the Etys though.

Try the shure yellow foamies with the Etys, or mod the Ety foamies (cut 1/3 the length or do a search on Tyson and modded foamies for a detailed thread). It sounds amazing!!
