I just received Enigma's 15 Years After box set from Amazon.de. One reason I bought it from Amazon Germany was because they have sets signed by Michael Cretu. The box set is very impressive, although Mr. Cretu just initialled it with a silver marker. I already had all their albums on CD, but couldn't pass up this box set. Enigma is one of my favorite artists.

One issue with this box set is the music discs are not Redbook CDs, they're EMI Virgin's Copy-Control discs. I didn't know this before buying it. I'll make copies of them and store the originals away because they're more susceptible to errors from scratches. I think it's ironic I'm making copies of these discs because they're "Copy-Control." I wouldn't make copies if they were Redbook CDs.

It includes the new Hello & Welcome single and 2 DVDs. There's also a code to download two videos from www.enigma.de.

How is the sound quality compared to original CDs? Is there ar difference? Can you see who is credited with digital (re)mastering?

Er, I haven't actually listened to the discs yet. I've ripped them into iTunes ALAC. They sound similar to the previous releases. The text indicates they are Recorded and Mastered at A.R.T. Studios, Ibiza/Spain, except for the Special Bonus CD, where it says Ark Recording Studios and engineered and mixed by Grippa.

Here are some photos of the box set.

Hi, I just saw your post about enigma 15 years after autographed box set. That's the one I'm looking for my wife, who's a big fan of Enigma just like you, and I want to surprise her with a gift like that.

When I searched on Amazon Germany (amazon.de) that box, it shows two. How do I know which one is the autographed one?

Thank you!
