What would you consider your endgame portable headphone to be? Endgame being a flexible term, I mean "best up to now" that you own.

Consider SQ, isolation, features, build quality as you value by preference.

I currently like the P7 wireless and was wondering what would be the next step up.

I don't think I have an endgame one unless they can make a headphone that can have more than one sound profile. I am very happy with my Denon MM400 and Oppo PM-3 depending on what music I am listening to. I like the Denon's with modern rock/pop because of its punch. I like the Oppo for new age, jazz, blues because of its instrument separation. I think the 2 compliment each other very well.

Beyerdynamic T5p?

I only have the DT1350s, not quite as posh. But despite some flaws (including channel imbalance in the treble and an uncomfortable, finicky fit) and the annoyance of supra-aural (not an issue with the t5p), they blow me away. So I'm guessing the t5p is a good pick, but $$$.

I liked the Triple Fi IEMS, too, but they were $99 when I bought them so I was forgiving. But yeah, wow. IEMs can be excellent the sound is just very inside-your-skull.
